People walk into a space, fall in love with the lighting, the floors, the aesthetic… and completely skip over the details that actually make or break the experience. And then they end up over budget, stressed, and trying to fix problems that could’ve been avoided from day one. So if you’re venue searching right now, here are the things you actually need to be thinking about.
1. Vendor Flexibility Matters More Than You Think
Before you book anything, ask yourself if you can bring in your own vendors. Some venues require you to use their in-house catering, bar, AV, or rentals. Period.
