We hired Pink Social Strategies when our event manager had left, and we were on the cusp of our annual fall conference. I knew April from her volunteerism with our Young Friends Group, where she had shown herself to be hardworking, forthright, and creative. Six months later, and we would be lost without her! This fall’s Forum on Justice and Opportunity under April’s leadership was ECS’ biggest and most successful yet. That’s because April was considerate of adding small details that made the event feel unique and memorable, while contributing to the big picture.
